• This is Seda, Yvette and Vahe’s mom, remembering our dear friend Berge. I met him at Nihal Hotel in Abu Dhabi, where he was staying when we had just moved from Tehran. He told me he was from Lebanon and was so kind and friendly that I invited him to have lunch with my family, as he was far from his own. That was the start of a wonderful friendship.

• Mon petit berge... quelle profonde douleur que ta perte. Toi qui depuis mon tout jeune âge était là pour moi pour nous. Toujours de bonne humeur toujours si investi toujours si plein d amour. J étais si contente de te croiser chez papa et maman avec ton grand sourire et tes beaux yeux bleus si intenses.
